A personal history is the account of your life, in your words. Putting the story together with your memories, thoughts, feelings, wisdom and all the other parts involves some or all of the following:

• Interviewing – we’ll record your words so they don’t get lost and help you tell your story whether it's one period of your life, specific incidents or adventures, special memories, themes, career experiences or whatever you want to tell. And if that’s all you want, that’s fine.

• Transcription – we’ll put your words on paper so you, your family and friends will always have them.

• Editing and writing – we’ll weave your words and pictures into a story you want to read and that maintains your voice and personality. If we need background or more information to add to the flavour, we’ll find it.

• Proofreading – we’ll make sure your story is ‘clean’ and that we’ve got it right before it goes to press.

• Ethical Wills – a message to family, friends or community passing on your values, spiritual legacy, lessons from life, hopes, wisdom learned or any advice you may wish to impart. Ethical wills are often done at significant points in one's life or they can be part of an estate plan.

• Family histories – we know that putting together your family’s story can be complicated, confusing and time consuming. We can help you sort it out.
